Terms of Service
The agreement between ShikshaFlow and a school that runs its operation on this platform. Written to be read once, in full, by the person who signs it.
VERSION V1 · IN FORCE FROM 16 SEPTEMBER 2026
1Who this is between
“ShikshaFlow”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this platform. “You” and “the school” mean the institution that holds an account, together with everyone you authorise to use it — your staff, and the families you invite.
These terms take effect when the person who set up your account accepts them, and that acceptance is recorded with their name, the time, and the version they accepted.
2Your data is yours
Every record you create here — your pupils, their guardians, your staff, your marks, your fees, your enquiries — belongs to you. We hold it to run the service for you and for no other purpose.
We do not read your admission enquiries. ShikshaFlow operates its own enquiry channel, entirely separate from yours. Where we introduce a family to you, we count that introduction and what came of it. Enquiries you generate yourself are not visible to us, and there is no setting that would make them visible — the software has no way to read them.
You can export your data at any time. If you stop paying, modules close at the boundary of your plan and your records remain yours and exportable; they are not deleted because an invoice is late.
3Leads we send you
A family that contacts ShikshaFlow looking for a school may be introduced to you. When that happens the enquiry arrives in your own admissions list, marked as having come from us, exactly like an enquiry from any other campaign.
We count the introductions we make and, unless you turn it off, whether each one ended in an admission. That is the whole of what we learn about an introduced family after we hand them to you — not your conversation with them, not the child’s details, and nothing at all about your other enquiries.
Outcome sharing is on by default and you can turn it off at any time in Settings. With it off we still know that we introduced the family, because we made the introduction; we simply do not learn what came of it.
You may also ask to be left out of the directory we show families, and we will remove you from it.
4What you are responsible for
You decide who in your school may see what, using the roles and permissions the software provides. You are responsible for keeping that accurate — for removing access when somebody leaves, and for not sharing accounts between people.
You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you put here, including having a basis to hold information about the children in your care and to contact their families.
You will not use the service to send messages that the recipient has not agreed to receive. The platform records consent and honours withdrawal; working around that is a breach of these terms and, on WhatsApp and SMS, of the carriers’ own rules.
5What we are responsible for
Keeping the service running, keeping your data separated from every other school’s, keeping backups, and telling you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
Your data is isolated in the database itself, not only in the screens. A person signed in at another school cannot read your records even if our application code were wrong about it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train anything.
6Messages that cost money
WhatsApp and SMS are charged by the carrier per message. Where your plan includes them, we send on your behalf and the cost is part of your subscription up to the limits your plan states. Beyond those limits we will tell you before we send more, not after.
7Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time. Tell us and we will give you a full export of your data in a format you can read without this software.
We may suspend an account that is being used to break the law, to harm a child, or to send messages people have not agreed to. Where we can, we will ask you to fix it first.
8Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will publish the new version, tell you before it takes effect, and ask you to accept it. Each version is kept, and the one you accepted is recorded against your account so it can be read back years later.
9Privacy
How we handle personal data — yours, your staff’s, your families’ and the leads we collect in our own name — is set out in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
