Operators are audited like everyone else
Platform access is the widest access there is, which is exactly why it is recorded. An operator looking at a school's data leaves a record, and cannot remove it.
What a school can see
A school sees its own audit trail. Platform-level actions on their tenant are visible to them where they touched their data — a school is entitled to know when somebody outside it looked.
Use it before you are asked
The trail answers "did anyone touch this" without a debate. Check it first when a school reports something inexplicable.
