Issue and return

Issue a copy to a student or a member of staff; return it when it comes back. Overdue items surface so somebody can chase them.

Running the library is a duty, not a job title

The library can be delegated to a member of staff who is not an administrator — a teacher who also runs the library, for example. They do that work in this console, and still teach in the teacher portal.

That split is deliberate. See Responsibilities.

Plan

Library is a Gold feature. On a lower plan the module is not present for anyone at the school.
