Concerns raised to you
Questions and complaints routed to you, and the clock they carry.

Concerns raised by families or colleagues that have been routed to you.
They carry a clock
A concern has a response time, measured in the school's working days — holidays and weekends on the school calendar do not count against it.
Responding
Respond on the case. Your response is what the family sees, and the fact that you responded is part of the school's record that it answered.
What you cannot see
Confidential categories — safeguarding, harassment — are restricted to a named committee. If you are not on it, those cases are not visible to you at all, rather than visible-but-locked. That is deliberate.
Raising one yourself
Staff can raise concerns too, through the same desk.
