Online exams
Authoring a browser-based test, its window, and reading what happened afterwards.
GoldThis is a Gold feature. If your school is on a lower plan, this screen will not appear.
Authoring
Build the paper question by question, set the marks per question, and set the window — when the exam opens and closes — and the time limit for a single attempt.
The window and the limit are different things. The window is when it can be started; the limit is how long a student has once they start.
While it runs
An attempt is held on the server, not in the student's browser, so a disconnection does not lose submitted answers. The clock does not pause for one.
Attempts that run out
An attempt still open at its limit is closed and submitted as it stands. That is automatic and does not need you.
Afterwards
You can see what each student submitted and when. If a student reports a problem, the timing of their attempt is recorded and answers the question.
