Holidays, exams and events — the one-off dates, as opposed to the repeating week.
The calendar carries the dates that are not part of the ordinary week: holidays, exam days, events, parent meetings.
Calendar or timetable?
The timetable is the repeating week — period four is maths every Tuesday. The calendar is the exceptions and the one-offs.
Whose calendar
You see the school's calendar plus anything specific to your child's class. Events for other classes do not appear.
Times and places
An event carries a place as well as a time where the school has set one. If a place matters — a parents' evening in a particular hall — check the entry rather than assuming.
It is the school's calendar, not a subscription
There is no feed to add to a phone calendar. Check here, or watch for the notice the school sends.
