Attendance across the school

Who has not marked, and finding chronic absence before it becomes a problem.

The school-wide view: every section, every day.

Registers not marked

The most useful thing here is what is missing — sections with no register for a day. Chase those the same day; reconstructing a register a week later is guesswork.

Chronic absence

Persistent absence surfaced as a pattern, rather than buried in per-day records. That is the point of having a school-wide view at all: no single teacher sees a child who is absent one day a week from each of five different classes.

Corrections

The office can mark and correct dates that are closed to teachers. Corrections are recorded, with who made them.

What families see

Guardians see their own child's attendance as soon as it is saved, and may be notified of an absence. Bulk-correcting a month of records can generate a lot of notifications.
