Requests from families

Families can request a certificate from their own portal, and the request arrives here with its reason. Working the queue is what makes the family's status screen honest.

Issuing

Generate the document from the student's record. Because it is generated from the record rather than typed, the name and admission number on it are the ones the school holds — which is also why a wrong detail is corrected on the record first, then reissued.

Transfer certificates

A transfer certificate is usually issued as a student leaves. Issuing one is a significant act; schools generally restrict who can.

Nothing is forgotten

Issued certificates are recorded, so a school asked years later what it issued and when has an answer.
