Fees — what is due and how to pay
Reading your invoices, paying online, and finding a receipt afterwards.
Everything about money for your child sits on one screen, and every payment leaves a receipt you can download later.
What the screen shows
Each invoice is one bill the school has raised — a term's tuition, a bus fee, an exam fee. An invoice carries:
- what it is for, broken into individual heads,
- the total,
- what has been paid against it so far,
- and the due date.
An invoice is never edited after it is issued. If something is wrong, the school raises an adjustment against it, so the record of what was originally billed survives.
Paying
Choose the invoice and pay the whole outstanding amount, or a part of it where your school allows instalments.
Payment is handled by the school's payment provider. You will leave the portal, pay, and come back. Do not press back or close the tab during payment — wait to be returned, so the result reaches the school.
If your connection drops mid-payment, do not pay again immediately. Reopen the fees screen first: if the payment reached the provider it will already show. Paying twice is refundable but slow.
Receipts
A successful payment produces a receipt straight away, downloadable as a PDF from the invoice. It carries the receipt number, the date, the amount and the heads it was applied to.
Receipts stay available for past years, so a receipt from two years ago is still there.
Part payments and balances
Where instalments are allowed, an invoice can be paid across several payments. The screen always shows the outstanding balance rather than only the original total, so what you owe today is the number on display.
Common questions
The amount changed since last term. Fee heads are set per class and per year, so moving up a class usually changes the bill. The invoice lists every head, so compare head by head.
I paid but it still shows as due. Provider confirmations can take a few minutes. If it has not cleared within an hour, contact the office with the date, amount and the reference your bank shows.
I have two children. Each child has their own invoices. Switch child at the top of the portal; paying for one never affects the other.
I cannot see the fees screen. Not every school uses ShikshaFlow for fee collection. If your school collects fees another way, this screen will not be there.
