Why the assignment matters beyond billing
If a child is not assigned to the right route, the school cannot answer "which bus is she on" in the moment somebody needs to know. Keep it current when a family changes arrangements mid-term.
Fees
Where transport is charged, the charge flows into the fee structure like any other head. Removing a child from a route does not retrospectively unbill them — that is an adjustment on the invoice.
