Academic work
Oversight of homework, classwork, assignments and projects — chiefly the load a child carries.
Teachers set the work; this screen is the school's view across all of it.
The number that matters is the total
Any one teacher sees a reasonable assignment. A Class 8 child sees the sum of six of them, set on the same evening, each reasonable on its own. Looking across subjects is the only way that becomes visible, and it is the most common complaint a school hears at a PTM.
Due dates cluster
Work tends to bunch before exams and after long weekends. Spotting a week where four subjects fall due on the same day is worth more than reviewing any single assignment.
What families see
Guardians see their own child's work and its due dates in the family portal. Changing a due date after it is set can notify every guardian in the section, so batch corrections deliberately.
Not a marking screen
Marks live in Examination. This is about what was set and when it is due, not what it scored.
